Ashes that sparkle like stars in the night sky.

One of the reasons it took us so long to perfect our memorial jewellery, is that we tested hundreds of ways to incorporate the ashes. After all, they're what makes your piece so special. 
 

First, we tried placing them at different layers of the enamelling process in order to find out where they looked best. Low enough to benefit from the deep colour of the enamel, but high enough that they can be seen every time you look at your jewellery. 

We tried different techniques to prepare the ashes, too.

You'll see lots of memorial jewellery companies adding diamond dust to the ashes, but we think they're beautiful enough as it is. And besides, when you look at your ring, you want to know exactly what it is that's shining back at you. 
 

Eventually, we came across the solution - hand grinding the ashes until they're so fine, they sparkle just like diamond dust.

It takes a little longer, but we've never seen that as a problem.

And there's an added bonus, too - we use less ashes this way, but still achieve the same result without the need for synthetic sparkle.
