WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you'd prefer to spread the cost of your purchase, please select one of our pay monthly or instalment payment options at checkout.
WILL THE ASHES BE SAFE?
We take great care to ensure the ashes are very safe at all times. When you place your order, we'll send you a pack, which includes a small spoon and airtight container. All we ask is for you to place one spoonful of ashes in the container, seal it shut and send it back to us. Any ashes that are not used, will be sent back with your jewellery.
HOW DO I MEASURE MY RING SIZE?
Included in the order pack will be a ring sizer. Simply place this over the finger on which you wish to wear the ring, pull it until it is secure - but not uncomfortably tight - and record the size on the order form. When we receive the order form, we can begin creating your ring.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY?
This depends on the jewellery you order from us. While we Rhodium plate our silver to protect against unnecessary tarnishing, we should still point out that all silver tarnishes over time. If you're concerned about this, we recommend opting for white gold instead.
With other jewellery, be aware that it can scratch, so remove it if you're lifting heavy items or dealing with hard, rough surfaces. We also recommend removing your memorial jewellery while bathing or swimming.
Clean your Phoenix by Vaughtons pieces with a soft, warm soapy cloth.
WHY DO YOU USE VITREOUS ENAMEL?
Vitreous enamel is made by fusing powdered glass to a substrate at very high temperatures. It retains some of the properties of glass - a shiny, smooth and reflective surface that is also transparent - but with added durability and resistance to tarnishing or damage. Using vitreous enamel ensures your jewellery will maintain its vibrant colour, resist the 'clouding' that can often be seen in other forms of glass stones, and stay looking perfect for longer.
CAN MY FAMILY PLACE A GROUP ORDER?
Placing a group order can cut down on your admin at what is already a difficult time and means we can create all of your jewellery from a single ashes sample. Please contact us to discuss group orders.
WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THE ASHES IN THE JEWELLERY?
The ashes are visible in all Phoenix by Vaughtons jewellery and are carefully layered in such a way that they take on a beautiful, sparkly appearance. We do understand that some customers may enjoy knowing that their loved one's ashes are close by, without such a visible reminder, so we would recommend they opt for the smaller stones, such as the Oval Signet Ring or Men's Square Signet Ring.
HOW LONG WILL MY JEWELLERY TAKE TO ARRIVE?
We strongly believe that memorial jewellery should be a perfect keepsake that can be passed through generations. For that reason, we won't ever rush a Phoenix by Vaughtons piece. We aim to dispatch all orders within 6-8 weeks, once they've passed our rigorous quality checks. If you'd like an update on your order, please contact us.
